Kray Van Kirk in Concert
Thoughtful, sometimes funny, and evocative songs, presented with voice of a troubadour and terrific musical presence -
If you ask someone about singer-songwriter Kray Van Kirk's music, comparisons to Loreena McKennitt, John Denver, Gordon Lightfoot, or Dougie MacLean will come up. If you ask Van Kirk himself to describe what he does, he is likely to jump on top of a table in a crowded coffee shop and shout 'The wind is changing! Look sharp! Get out the map - it's time to go! We ride across a thousand pages and sail beyond the sunset, to seek, to find, to strive, and not to yield!'. Some won't understand it, and that's perfectly fine. But those who do will wipe the tears from their eyes, smile knowingly, and drain their cups, toasting their own wild lands and wilder passions.

"Kray's songs are smart, and stay with you after the show is over. His shows are amazing, and are truly a memorable experience. He's really a very funny guy! And an incredibly nice, hard-working, talented person. Book him when you can. And listen to his music, really listen to it. Listen in the quiet of your living room, and hear the smart messages in his songs. You will be forever changed."
Blair Larsen, President, Bridger Folk Music Society, Logan UT
